Terms & Conditions

Customers are requested to read carefully the terms and conditions for the use of our parking procedures recommended in the terms and conditions. Should you wish to place a complaint, you are requested to follow the complaints procedure set out in our terms and conditions which will ensure that your complaint is brought to the attention of the Manager of the Head Office.

Company Liabilities

This is a private company not opted to the public. Day by Day Parking Ltd., its servants and agents liability in respect of any loss or theft of vehicle from misdelivery of or temporary failure to deliver or damage to the vehicle only where the same is proved and to the extent that is proved to be caused by negligence, wilful act or breach of statutory duty of Day by Day Parking Ltd., its servants or agents.

Insurance

Day by Day Parking Ltd.’s fees include insurance cover whilst our drivers are moving your vehicle. We would respectfully remind you that all vehicle owners must comply with the road traffic acts, specifically applicable to road fund licence and where necessary MOT certificates. Claims for subsequent damage to your vehicle will not be considered unless they are reported at the time of collection of your vehicle.

Exclusions

Responsibility is neither implied nor accepted for articles left in cars, windscreens, tyres, wheel trims, stone chips, scratches (as those are not always visible due to daylight and weather conditions on departure time), mechanical failures, frost, flood, storm damage. Drivers are insured to drive customer’s cars on the public highway (one single claim per car for damage of up to the sum of £26,000). Cars parked on Day by Day Parking Ltd.’s compound are parked at the owner’s risk. Day by Day Parking Ltd. accepts no liability for loss or damage unless & to the extent it is proved to be caused by the negligence of Day by Day Parking Ltd..

Not Covered

Day By Day Parking Ltd. accepts no responsibility for mechanical failure, immobiliser/Key fob failure. Day by Day Parking Ltd. will deal with wheel changes for punctures and flat batteries to expedite return journey.

Complaints Procedure

Should your vehicle suffer damage, immediately inform Day by Day Parking Ltd.’s driver before accepting the vehicle back at the terminal area. Signing for the return of your vehicle will void any claim whatsoever.

Possessions

Do not leave any valuables in the vehicle (e.g. Radios, loose change, CDs etc). The Company will not cover personal effects of any kind or value. No responsibility is accepted for any keys other than those for your vehicle. We reserve the right to remove dashcams, this is to maintain the security of the of the car park in relation to the location and to minimise any incidents due to overheating equipment.

Moving of vehicles

The total mileage should be no more than 30 miles from the airport to the car park and back to the airport. This is subject to motorway closures or diversions which could add more miles. Day by Day Parking Ltd. reserves the right to move the vehicle within the car park by driving to such extent as Day by Day Parking Ltd. may, in its discretion, think necessary to avoid obstruction or the more efficient arrangement of its car park. Day by Day Parking Ltd. reserves the right where the car park has to be closed either permanently or temporarily in whole or in part or has to be evacuated in cases of emergency to remove any car at any time to another reasonably convenient car park within the control of Day by Day Parking Ltd. All of the above can cause excess mileage.

Tax and MOT

The customer must ensure that the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and has a current road tax disc and current MOT certificate during the period that Day by Day Parking Ltd. has control of the vehicle and will indemnify Day by Day Parking Ltd. should this not be the case, such indemnity to include legal expenses. If the vehicle is deemed to be unroadworthy. Day by Day Parking Ltd. reserves the right not to move the vehicle, no refund will be allowed.

In the event of your vehicle failing to start we will take you to your vehicle and it will be you responsibility to arrange the repair. We will assist where possible.

Damage & Mileage Check

The booking will be completed by the client before the car has left the airport and a copy will be left with the client to sign upon their return. We will also retain a copy.

If the weather conditions – bad light, dirty vehicle etc. prevent a full body inspection, then Day By Day Parking Ltd accept no liability for this car and will note this on the day of removal from your hotel. The driver shall note this in the body inspection form.

Return Flight Numbers & Times

The customer must ensure that Day by Day parking Ltd. has the flight number for the arrival at Manchester airport, including the correct terminal. Your vehicle will be returned within the maximum time of 60 minutes. Please ensure you collect your luggage prior to calling for pickup.

Curtailment and Extended Stay

The client will pay any expense incurred by Day By Day Parking for early curtailment by the client (maximum charge £70.00).

The client will pay any expense incurred by Day By Day Parking for extended stay by the client (at a rate of £10.00 per day).

The Company will make no further charge for unavoidable delays at its discretion.

Airport Charges

DAY BY DAY PARKING HOLDS NO CONTROL OVER THE AIRPORT CAR PARKING CHARGES AND THEREFORE WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY CHARGES INCURRED BY THE AIRPORT. ALL CHARES ARE TO BE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER DIRECTLY TO THE AIRPORT ON ENTRY AND EXIT OF ITS FORECOURTS AND CAR PARKS.

* THE AIRPORT WILL ISSUE A £25.00 FINE IF YOU ARE OVER 10 MINUTES IN A DROP OFF BAT AT THE TERMINAL. DAY BY DAY PARKING WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PARKING CHARGES WHEN THE CUSTOMER HAS ARRIVED EARLIER THAN BOOKED AND THEREFORE HAVE INCURRED ADDITIONAL CHARGES WITHIN THE AIRPORT FORECOURTS.

*The airport charge is £6.00 for 10 minutes and is payable upon each entry and exit at the barrier.
